Maggie ran the first program for pregnant incarcerated women in Chicago. She is a Birth Justice Certified Doula and Lactation Counselor and is the founder of a mutual aid network that still provides access to free food in the community of Evanston, IL. She has a BA in Political Science and Women and Gender Studies, is a Certified Substitute Teacher who has worked in public schools both in IL and OH with a diverse range of kiddos, and has training and organizing experience related to equity and diversity in education
